New Reception Intake September 2027

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. At Cage Green Primary School, we want you to feel informed, confident and excited about your choice.

We warmly invite you to visit our school and discover how we help every child fulfil their potential while feeling happy, safe and supported.

During your visit, you’ll meet our Headteacher, Mitchell Elliott, and explore our learning environments. We keep tour groups small, giving you the opportunity to step inside classrooms, ask questions and experience the school’s friendly atmosphere for yourself.

You’ll also meet our Head Pupils, who will be delighted to tell you about their experiences and share what makes Cage Green so special!

Please note:

• Tours last approximately 1 hour and are for Parents and Carer's only
• There is no parking available on site.  If you're driving, please park on Cage Green Road or Thorpe Avenue.
  

Application Process

Parents of children due to start school in the 2027-2028 academic year are encouraged to visit their local primary schools throughout the Autumn Terms of 2026. 

Applications for primary school places should then be made to Kent County Council.  Applications will open on Friday 6th November 2026 and close on Thursday 15th January 2027.
